What is behind an Aterballetto performance? What happens in the halls of the Fonderia in Reggio Emilia?
You’ll find out with PROVE IN CORSO, our first four-part series curated by Nicolas Ballario: one of the most highly regarded contemporary art journalists whose unique verve and extraordinary expertise bring just about everyone closer to the art world with his broadcasts on Sky Arte and RadioUnoRai.
Together with Ballario you will enter the world of the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto. Between hilarious encounters, ironic situations with those who live the Foundry every day and danced moments, in four episodes directed by Fabrizio Spucches, we will discover the curiosities of the company and the behind-the-scenes of the shows, in a way never told before.
Event partners:
Thanks to our collaboration with YOGI TEA, we can treat our audience to delicious teas and infusions, inspired by the ancient philosophy of Ayurveda, which aims at the well-being of body and mind.
We conclude our series on dance with the last episode scheduled for Saturday, April 22 at 9 p.m. The evening will be dedicated to YELED, a creation by Eyal Dadon that we are very fond of and that brings to the stage the reflection that the Israeli choreographer has conducted, together with the dancers of Aterballetto, on the moment in life when we come to lose the innocence of children.
With his irony, Nicolas Ballario will tell what it was like to work on this series, together with Aterballetto dancers who will show excerpts from the piece.
This will be followed by a screening of the fourth episode of PROVE IN CORSO and then finish with a talk in the company of Ballario and Aterballetto.
