Due to several cases of dancers testing positive for Covid, the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza and the Fondazione Palazzo Magnani are forced to cancel the event.
However, the visiting hours for the exhibition have been extended, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The appointment with the MicroDances – recent winners of the prestigious “Danza & Danza 2021” Award for original project, multimediality and internationality – is only postponed to next summer, when they will be protagonists on the Reggio Emilia scene.Spectators who had already purchased tickets for the live performances at Palazzo da Mosto will be contacted directly by Vivaticket for a refund.
Six of the thirteen MicroDances will be performed for the last time in Italy, in Reggio Emilia, in an innovative and original context: the contemporary art exhibition ORIZZONTI DEL CORPO Art / Dance / Virtual Reality, produced by Palazzo Magnani Foundation and curated by Marina Dacci, in the historical Palazzo da Mosto. The project combines visual, performing arts and technology in a continuous exchange: the MicroDances, in fact, are designed to be enjoyed together with the works of art and are performed live during the last weekend of the exhibition:
